If anything I’ll use a bookmark, but often I’ll just remember my page number or flip through until I find it. I can’t stand bending the pages or the spine like that.

Yes, often without solicitation.

No writing. :/

4. Dust jackets – leave it on or take it off.

I usually take ‘em off to read it, but then put it back on as soon as I finish.

5. Hard cover, paperback, skip it and get the audio book?

hardcover or paperback. not audiobook.

6. Do you shelve your books by subject, author, or size and color of the book spines?

Theoretically by author, but most are lucky if they don’t end up in haphazard stacks on the floor.

7. Buy it or borrow it from the library later?

depends on how badly I want the book. often I’m happy to use the library.

8. Do you put your name on your books – scribble your name in the cover, fancy bookplate, or stamp?

no.

9. Most of the books you own are rare and out-of-print books or recent publications?

recent, I suppose

10. Page edges – deckled or straight?

um, there isn’t usually an option, is there?

11. How many books do you read at one time?

one, unless one’s for school, then two. otherwise I can get through them really fast.

12. Be honest, ever tear a page from a book?

I WOULD NEVER.
